Underinsured Care

Each year Virginia Eye Foundation provides significant support to Hampton Roads underinsured community by assisting in sight saving surgeries and care. In addition to the care directly provided to individuals, in 2015, the Virginia Eye Foundation made a donation of $30,000 to the Lackey Free Clinic in Yorktown to provide eye care services for those in need on the Peninsula.

Community Education

Virginia Eye Foundation supports continuing education of local health care professionals. Several workshops and seminars are offered throughout the year focusing on a variety of eye care topics, including new technology and procedures.
